Manaslu Circuit Trek

The Manaslu Circuit Trek is one of the finest trekking routes in Nepal. Opened to trekkers only in 1992, it remains relatively untouched and sees fewer visitors due to its remote location and physically demanding nature, giving it a true “pioneer” feel. The region lies within a restricted area, requiring special permits, which further helps preserve its unspoiled beauty.

This spectacular trek offers breathtaking views of the Annapurna range to the west, the Ganesh Himal to the east, and the majestic Mount Manaslu (8,163 m), the eighth-highest mountain in the world.

The 13-day journey takes you from lowland agricultural villages, where terraced rice fields are carved into the hillsides, through lush forests and traditional settlements, and along the dramatic Budhi Gandaki Gorge with its roaring, crystal-clear waters. The trail gradually ascends to the snow-covered Larkya La Pass (5,106 m), located near the Tibetan border.

From the top of the pass, the panoramic views of Manaslu and the surrounding peaks are truly awe-inspiring. In the high-altitude, thin air, the scenery is both humbling and unforgettable—quite literally taking your breath away.
