The Everest Three Passes Trek is a tough and exciting journey in Nepal’s Khumbu region, inside Sagarmatha National Park. You will cross three big mountain passes: Kongma La (5,535 meters), Cho La (5,420 meters), and Renjo La (5,360 meters).
On this trek, you can meet local Sherpa people and visit famous monasteries like Tengboche. The area has many kinds of plants and animals, including snow leopards, musk deer, and many birds. You will stay mostly in cozy teahouses and lodges that welcome travelers warmly.
This trek is harder than the usual Everest Base Camp walk. It’s for people who want a real mountain adventure and a big challenge at high altitude.
You will walk through wild places—quiet valleys, rocky glaciers, and clear blue lakes. The climbs are steep, the views are amazing, and you will learn about Sherpa culture along the way.
If you love trekking and want to test your strength while seeing some of the most beautiful sights on Earth, the Everest Three Passes Trek is perfect for you.

Your trekking plan should include extra days to adjust to the thin air.
You will have long walking days (6–8 hours) and sometimes tough weather.
Travel insurance that covers high-altitude trekking is very important for safety.
This trek is quieter and less crowded than the regular Everest Base Camp trek.
You will walk through untouched nature inside Sagarmatha National Park.
You will cross glaciers, rocky valleys, and steep trails, making it feel like a real mountain expedition.
After trekking a lot in the mountains, many people want to try something new and exciting—peak climbing. Peak climbing is a big adventure that is often the next step after trekking. Some experienced climbers also use it as practice before going for even bigger mountains over 8,000 meters high.
There are many places in the world where you can try peak climbing. But if you’re not sure where to start, the Himalayas in Nepal are a great choice. Nepal has many peaks to climb, and one popular one is Island Peak.
