With
a view to encouraging Non-Resident Nepalis (NRNs) to invest
in Nepal, the government has introduced legal provisions
with unlimited entry visa, business facilities and other
rights equivalent to Nepalese citizens.
The
favourable legal provisions have been introduced through an
Ordinance. Under the new legal provisions, the families of
NRNs, who are willing to invest in the country, will be
given an initial visa for ten years.
They can also renew the visa for another ten years at a
time. They will also be allowed to invest in foreign
currency and take their dividends.
They will be given a separate identity card and will be free
to move to any parts of this country like a common citizen.
