Nepalese Embassy in London, Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and 20 private companies promoted tourism products and services of Nepal in World Travel Market (WTM), London in the second week of November. “WTM 2011 was significant for Nepal in view of Nepal Tourism Year 2011. This year’s WTM was exclusive for buyers and sellers unlike in previous years. Most of the enquiries were related to specialty and new destination offers in light of NTY 2011,” NTB said in a press statement. Most of the visitors said Nepal could be their preferred destination if there was a direct connection, according to the statement. Private companies participating in the annual fair were Ace The Himalaya, Amadablam Adventure Group, Dharma Adventures, Explore Kailash Treks, Himalaya Kailash Travels & Tours, Himalayan Guides Nepal, Hotel Annapurna/Fishtail Lodge, Icefall Adventures, Intertours Nepal, Jomsom Travels, Karnali Excursions, Luxury Adventure Nepal, Royal Mt Trekking, Shangri-la Hotel & Resort, Temple Tiger Group of Companies, The Explore Nepal, The Malla Hotel, Tigerland Safari Resort/Annapurna Express Tours, Trek Nepal Int’l and Yeti Travels.
